Sleep Paralysis Outline

Studies for a watercolor, based on two experiences I had with sleep paralysis and its demons: one in 2014 and another in 2018. On both occasions, an unidentified man (I only saw his silhouette) wore a top hat and lay down with me in bed.

The second time, I was already living in São Paulo and was in my first semester of college. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sounds of a storm and everything seemed very clear. I walked to the living room in a state of wakefulness that made me believe everything was flooding. I went back to bed and in the morning, the man appeared.
